AFSCME COUNCIL 8’s APC-13 ENDORSES ZACH KLEIN FOR FRANKLIN COUNTY PROSECUTOR

The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 8’s APC-13 announced their endorsement of Zach Klein for Franklin County Prosecutor today.

“Zach Klein has our endorsement because he’s experienced, trusted and is a truly dedicated public servant. We need a Franklin County Prosecutor who, like our members, strives to make our county a better and safer place. And that’s Zach Klein,” said APC-13 Lead Staff Roberta Skok.

AFSMCE Council 8 represents over 41,000 public employees across the state of Ohio. Klein has received the endorsement of APC-13, representing more than 2,800 Franklin County and City of Columbus workers.

“We have worked extensively with Zach Klein during his time on Columbus City Council and as City Council President. We know that Zach Klein has the qualifications and experience needed to be our Franklin County Prosecutor,” said APC-13 Chair Chip Moore.

Zach Klein issued the following statement in response:

“I’m grateful to have the endorsement of AFSCME Council 8’s APC-13. These hard working public servants have dedicated their life’s work to helping people and bettering our communities and our state. That’s why it’s such an honor to have their support – because it’s the Prosecutor’s job to ensure our county is safe, strong and helping its people.”
